Baja Oeste tested us – just like Baja Portalegre – but every challenge was worth it. 💪
Deeply saddened by the death of Luis Caramelo 😢 Luis was closely involved in our Portuguese operation from the beginning. He took care of our entries and communication with the local race organisations. This he did tremendously well and in a very warm manner. We are proud to have worked with him. We cherish our special moments over a good glass of red wine. We wish the family lots of strength in coping with this grief 🤍
Yesterday marked the last race day for our 4 DaklaPack cars, closing an epic season on the Baja Oeste tracks! 🌄🏁 We’re beyond proud as two of our customers finished strong in T1 💪

The team managed to bring all the cars to the end! 💨
Today the day went very well for all the teams who were able to show their real pace and we have all 4 cars in the top 10 of SS2 in the T1 class.
Even though yesterday was hard and full of challenges – two cars with a broken tie rod and one with starting problems – today was a very good day for #TeamDaklaPack.

Challenging day yesterday for the DaklaPack rally team! 🏁
Our clients LM Racing and Geolock made it to the finish, despite a few setbacks. LM Racing started the day with starting troubles, but thanks to the team’s perseverance, they crossed the finish line successfully.
The brothers Henk and Pim had a tough break – after a strong prologue, their tie rod broke just 10 km in. Coincidentally, the same issue happened to Dave and Tessa 10 km further along, but thanks to the hard work of our mechanics, all four cars are back at the starting line today! 💪

Very tough afternoon for the team!
If the morning started well in SS1 two of the cars had mechanical problems in the first 25km and Dave & Tessa and Pim & Henk ended up going to the bivouac without finishing the stage.
Our clients Gregg & Jurgen and Bernand & Pedro had better luck and finished the stage in 6th and 9th place.
Our team of mechanics is already working on the cars, we hope they will be ok for SS2 tomorrow morning!
